Launching in 2026
The Bet On Us Scholarship Program is currently in development and is expected to launch in 2026. Applications are not yet open, but we’re intentionally building a fair, accessible process centered on student needs.
Why This Scholarship Exists
Community college students often balance tuition costs, work, family responsibilities, and transfer planning at the same time. Bet On Us exists to help reduce financial stress and support students as they move toward their next step in higher education.

Who This Scholarship is For
The Bet On Us Scholarship Program is being designed for community college students in Texas. When applications open, priority will be given to students who may face additional financial or structural barriers in higher education.
Intended to support students who are:
- First-generation college students
- From low-income or limited-income househelds
- Balancing work, family responsibilities, and school
- Planning to transfer to a four-year institution
- From historically underrepresented or marginalized backgrounds
Students who may apply include those who are:
- Entering a community college
- Currently enrolled at a community college
- Preparing to transfer from a community college
- Former community college students who have recently transferred

Who Can Apply?
- Current Bet On Us Scholars (active members of the current cohort)
- Currently enrolled at a Texas community college or transferred within the past three years
- Completed at least one fall and one spring semester at a Texas community college
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Submitted all required application materials
Strong Applications Include
- Leadership or community involvement
- A personal story connected to Bet On Us' mission
- Optional video submission showcasing your personality
- A thoughtful plan for using the scholarship
Tier 2: Community Award
$500 (2 recipients)
Who Can Apply?
- Any current or former Texas community college student
- Currently enrolled or transferred within the past three years
- Completed one academic year at a Texas community college
- Texas resident
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Submitted all required application materials

- A clear explanation of how the scholarship will help
