Hi y'all my name is Nanei! I am a sophomore at Collin College. Once I transfer I plan to pursue a degree in international business. I loveeeee music! Some of my favorite artists are Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Chandler Moore, Lauryn Hill. I also love to read! Bell Hooks, Toni Morrison and James Baldwin are some of my favorite authors.

In my free time, I enjoy working out, traveling to new places, and watching movies, one of my favorites being The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. I love to read and write and recently had one of my poems published last year. I am very excited to help lead transfer students like myself to success!

I’m Saheed Shofu, a first-generation Nigerian student majoring in Government and Public Services at Houston City College, to receive my Associate of Arts degree before transferring to a 4-year university. I enjoy reading, volunteering, playing tennis, and learning. I'm excited to serve and connect with others as one of the student staff in the Bet On Us organization.
